Sneakers...A Series
This photo series is dedicated to all the things that I love; Fashion, Music, Creativity, Spirituality, and Sneakers. The shoes you wear can tell a lot about you, what you love, where you’ve been, and what you do. To be able to visually showcase that was a challenge that I wanted to explore. Through my choices of lighting and setting a scene I recreated a few aspects of my life through the use of photography.
WHAT IS ART?
Art is subjective to the viewer, so why is Graffiti so frowned upon? It is the visualization of Hip Hop as a culture and should be recognized for the creative, and risk that are involved in its making. Graffiti represents the city of the artist, It represents a lifestyle, It represents a moment in history, so lets honor those that make us feel something in the urban society we call home. This series takes a look at the art that moves a city, and makes those who grew up in tough and underappreciated communities feel represented. All the photos in this series were taken throughout the city of Long Beach and Downtown Los Angeles.
Sherman Library
The Sherman Library, Located in Newport Beach, CA is a small but magnificent botanical garden. I wanted to showcase the beauty of this place through my eyes.
